Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is a one-day training event that introduces parents and Cub Scout leaders to the skills needed to plan and conduct Pack outdoor activities.  Every Pack should have a BALOO-trained leader to ensure the appropriate guidelines are followed for Outdoor Activities.

Outdoor Webelos Leader Skills (OWL) for Webelos Leaders is designed specifically for Webelos Den Leaders and their assistants. OWL teaches outdoor-related skills and adventure preparation.

Both BALOO and OWL provide instruction, demonstration and hands-on practice. Come learn how to provide a successful outdoor experience for your Cub Scouts and Webelos! Both trainings fill requirements for the Den Leader Training Award, Scouter’s Training Award for Cub Scouting, and the Cubmaster’s Key award.

All participants are invited to stay for both trainings, to obtain both certifications.

Please park in the parking lot at Krupp Scout Hollow and walk in.
