Why: Challenge older youth with an adventure above and beyond the Klondike Derby for scouts.  Take the adventure Up a Notch!! Who:   All Tendoy Varsity Teams and Venture Crews and invited guests 
When: Friday & Saturday, February 24-25, 2017.  Arrival begins at 10 AM.

Approximately 10.2 miles east of Pocatello Scout Service Center. Then Hike approximately 1 mile to 42o 51’42.53”N  112o 59’23.29”W –  OR     42.861822°, -112.257871°

What: This Winter Adventure is the Districts way of welcoming the full winter camping experience with support from the District Leadership and other local units. All aspects of this Adventure are cranked “UP A NOTCH” to entice older more experienced campers to attend this exciting winter camp.       Cold weather camping can be intimidating but we are here to help.    
Innovative snow shelters are encouraged.   Ask Ralph Oborn for ideas.  Remember BSA policy is that there are NO FLAMES IN TENTS. Talk to us if you would like to go up a week or so early to create shelters.
