South Fork Vision Training

WHO:  ALL South Fork District Youth 12-18 AND their Adult Leaders.  Youth will complete their position specific training.  Leaders will also complete their leader specific training and have an option to complete Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.  Chartered Organization Representative Training will also be taught on Saturday, April 28^th.  This should replace your April campout.  

STAFF:  Youth and adults interested in staffing should contact their Stake Young Men’s Presidency to determine vacancies and meeting times.  

EVENT DATE: April 28-29, 2017, check-in begins 4:30 pm; event begins at 6:00 pm

LOCATION: Scout Hollow in Rigby, ID

COST:  Fees already paid for by LDS Stakes in the South Fork District.  RSVP system opens February 1, 2017.  Reservations must be made by March 31, 2017 so resources can be planned for accordingly.  Please make sure that you enter your anticipated number of youth and adults so that we can assign your Ward a campsite will accomodate your needs.  

PARKING:  Will be through the Green gate on the West End of Scout Hollow.  Units will then cross over the red bridge with any gear that was not put into their trailer that was dropped off the day before.  (There are 3 gates at Scout Hollow: Blue, then Black, then Green).

TRAILERS:  Are allowed but must be dropped off the Thursday before the event, from 10 am to 8 pm.  This will allow staff time to get set up for the event on Friday.

REGISTRATION EXAMPLE: If you a Venturing Leader that also needs Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills, the register both as a Venturing Adult and for Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.

THE DEADLINE TO RSVP IS MARCH 31, 2017.  This will allow the staff enough time to order supplies and coordinate the logistics for the event.
