ABOUT SECTION W2W CONCLAVE
This is one of the most exciting events that you will have each year. There are classes to learn a variety of different things, both in the Order of the Arrow and in Scouting generally. Activities such as climbing, swimming in a wave pool, and running on an obstacle course over water was available. Each night, there was a fun evening program to participate in. Section Officers are elected by the Youth. On Sunday, a Scout's Own Service is offered as well as a Sacrament Service.
WHAT TO BRING TO CONCLAVE
You will need to bring a Tent, Camping Chair, flashlight, a swim suit, patches to trade (if desired), money for the trading post, and anything else you typically bring on a camp out. Remember to bring a photocopy of your BSA physical (parts A & B only). There will be latrines, flushing toilets, access to water, and covered areas in case of emergency weather conditions.
ANNUAL PASS OR DUES
This is
NOT an Annual Pass Event. Your dues still need to be current and can be paid for
HERE. In addition, you must pay the registration fees for conclave. T
his years conclave has a cost of $64. If you register before April 1st you can get a discount of a five dollars. Candidates or members that are new (had their ordeal after last years conclave) pay $54 if registered before April 1st and $59 if registered after April 1st. BUS TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to the event and back to designated stops is included with the Transportation fee. Times are subject to change, particularly on Sunday's return time. Youth will have access to a cell phone to keep you appraised to a more accurate arrival time. You must be in full scout uniform while riding the bus.
The bus schedule is listed below, the times on the going to conclave side is the time that the bus will be departing those locations. PLEASE be there 10 - 15 minutes before the listed times. The coming home schedule may be adjusted based on when we actually leave Conclave. A cell phone will be made available for the youth to call their parents and inform them of our arrival time. The pick-up and drop-off schedule for the bus is as follows:
