Centennial District KLONDIKE CAMPOUT 2018

 

Who:               Ventures, Boy Scouts & Webelos

When:             January 19 & 20, 2018

Where:            Mudlake North Boat Dock, Terraton Idaho

 

Pre-registrations are appreciated, as they make check in run smoother and faster!

 

Cost per participant is $5.00 and 1 can of chicken noodle soup (no cream soups)

 

For those camping overnight – Check-in will begin a 5:00pm on Friday


Remember to Leave no Trace.  Please remember we are guests.    
 

Please take your trash home with you.   We have been having problems with units not picking up after themselves.

 

Remember this is a Winter Camping Event.  Make sure all participants are prepared for the weather and have the proper clothing and sleeping gear so that everyone is safe, warm, and has a good time.

 

We will have Klondike sled races!!!  Get your sleds waxed and ready to go!  If you don’t have a sled, hopefully you will take time in your meetings to make one!  You may race with your scout troop if they attend or you may race separately.

Friday, January 19th, 2018

  • 5:00 p.m. registration

  • Cost $5/Person AND 1 can of Chicken noodle soup (no cream soups)

  • Troops bring own food for Friday night meal and Saturday breakfast.

  • District campfire program with guest speaker after dinner.

  • 11 yr. old Scouts allowed to campout with a Father.

Saturday January 20th, 2018

  • Breakfast in Troops & stike camp if time allows.

  • 8:30 a.m. registration for Sat. only attendees        (Webelos and 11 yr. old New Scouts)

  • 9:00 a.m. Flag Ceremony.

  • 9:30 Events begin.

  • 12:30 p.m.  (estimated)  Lunch and awards.
