Centennial Vision Training
WHO: ALL South Fork District Youth 11-18 AND their Adult Leaders. Youth will complete their position specific training and can wear their "TRAINED" patch. Leaders will also complete their leader specific training and have an option to complete Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills. Chartered Organization Representative Training will also be taught on Saturday, July 1st. This should replace your June campout.
STAFF: Youth and adults interested in staffing should contact their Stake Young Men’s Presidency to determine vacancies and meeting times.
EVENT DATE: June 30 - July 1, 2017, check-in begins 4:30 pm; event begins at 7:00 pm. Please take any time prior to that to check-in, set-up your camp, and eat dinner.
LOCATION: Scout Hollow in Rigby, ID
COST: Fees will be paid for by LDS Stakes in the Centennial District. RSVP system is Now Open. Reservations must be made by June 27, 2017 so resources can be planned for accordingly. Please make sure that you enter your anticipated number of youth and adults so that we can assign your Ward a campsite will accomodate your needs.
PARKING: Will be through the Black gate at Scout Hollow (There are 3 gates at Scout Hollow: Blue, then Black, then Green).
TRAILERS: Are allowed but you must e-mail Jeff Jenson (jeff.jenson@scouting.org) by June 27th with the request. This will help assign you a campsite with trailer access.
REGISTRATION EXAMPLE: If you a Scouting Leader that also needs Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills, the register both as a Boy Scout Adult and for Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
THE DEADLINE TO RSVP IS June 26, 2017. This will allow the staff enough time to order supplies and coordinate the logistics for the event.
